How do I place an order?

1. Pick your color and closure.

2. Select your sizing — your exact size or one-size-fits-all.

3. Choose your bracelet length — 1, 2, 3, or 4 wraps, depending on your style or message length, single- or double-sided engraving.

4. Pick a font & enter your text.

5. Decide if your engraving goes on the inside or outside of the bracelet.

How many characters can I engrave on one bracelet?
Gemstone bracelets can be engraved with up to 130 characters per side, 260 for a double-sided engraving.

 

A classic clasp bracelet can fit up to 600 characters, which includes letters, spaces, & symbols, depending on the number of wraps, single or double-sided engraving, and font choice.

As an example:
1 wrap – single-sided engraving: 60 characters; double-sided: 120 characters.
2 wrap – single-sided engraving: 130 characters; double-sided: 260 characters.
3 wrap – single-sided engraving: 200 characters; double-sided: 400 characters.
4 wrap – single-sided engraving: 300 characters; double-sided: 600 characters.

The actual number of characters may vary depending on the width of the chosen font.

For double-sided bracelets, you can place one message on the front and another on the back. Please write your messages like this: "Front: your text / Back: your text".

What shall I know when choosing the font?
We offer 14 fonts, including Morse code for private messages. Please note that capitalized words in ornate fonts may be difficult to read. Some fonts are only available for wider bracelets.

 

How do I keep my message secret? 
Keep your message hidden by engraving it on the inside of the bracelet, using reversible clasps, or choosing Morse code for an intimate message.

Can I use symbols, emojis, or special characters?
Yes, symbols can be engraved, and simple shapes (star, heart, flower, or cross) can be cut out. The shapes can be punched out once, a few times, or continuously along the bracelets, starting from 7 mm wide. Symbols may be repeated as many times as they fit between the text and the end of the bracelet.
 

Color & Readibility

How does fabric color affect engraving readability?

Most fabrics engrave text clearly, but certain colors may affect readability.

 

Dark shades like dark grey, coffee, and brittany may make the text harder to see as the engraving blends with the fabric. Similarly, very light colors like beige, sea sand, bloom, light blue, and celadon may result in light text on light fabric. 

 

To ensure optimal readability, we suggest selecting colors that contrast well. For dark or light colors, choose thicker fonts over thin calligraphic styles.

 

Size & Adjustability

What size should I choose?

You can choose a one-size-fits-all option (fits wrists 14–23 cm / 5.5-9") or a custom size for a perfect, made-for-you fit.

 

How do I measure my wrist size?

To measure your wrist size, use a flexible tape measure or a piece of string. Wrap it around your wrist, then measure the length with a ruler. You don't need to add any extra space—we’ll make sure your bracelet fits comfortably.

 

How do I trim a classic clasp bracelet?

Adjust the bracelet to your wrist size, ensuring it fits comfortably without being too tight. Leave about 1-2 cm / 0.4-0.8" for a relaxed fit, then simply cut off the excess with scissors.

 

How do I trim a beaded gemstone bracelet?

To trim the length of the beaded gemstone bracelet, cut the knotted loop extension to your desired length, then seal the thread ends with a lighter.

How long does it take to make my bracelet?
Since each bracelet is handmade to order, production times takes 1-3 business days.

 

To calculate the estimated time of delivery, add production time of 1-3 business days to the shipping time.

 

How to track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking number.

 

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every Quotelet arrives in a silver-stamped gift box, complete with a personalized gift card, and it's ready for gifting. We don’t offer additional gift wrapping as our packaging is already designed to feel special and thoughtful right out of the box.

 

It's a gift that speaks for itself—the moment they open it says everything.

 

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

EU: We are based near Dusseldorf, Germany and currently ship to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, and Ireland. 

 

USA: Orders shipped to the United States have all duties and import taxes included. Customers will not be charged any additional duties or taxes upon delivery.

 

Non-EU: We also ship to Switzerland and Norway. Please note that VAT and any import charges are the responsibility of the customer and are collected upon delivery by local authorities.

 

If you prefer to have VAT and import taxes collected and paid upfront, you can place your order through our Etsy store for deliveries to Switzerland, Norway, and the UK.

 

How long is the shipping and what is the cost?

We charge only one shipping fee per address, no matter how much you order.

If you decide to cancel your order before production has started, we will gladly accommodate your request.

 

What if I made a mistake in my text / order / address?

If you need to make changes to your text, order details, or shipping address, please send us a message as soon as possible before it has been shipped. Once your Quotelet is on its way, we may not be able to make adjustments, but we’ll always do our best to help!

 

Can I see a preview of my design?
We don’t provide automated previews, but if you have specific formatting requests, feel free to reach out! We'll make sure your engraving looks just how you want it. Simply leave us a note in the comment box.

Return & Refund

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, except for personalized or custom-made items. Please message us before the 14 days are up. We’ll issue a refund to your original payment method once we receive your return (within 21 days). The buyer covers return shipping.

We also offer full refunds if your item is lost or doesn't arrive. If you believe an item is faulty, you can choose either a refund or an exchange. 

 

Do you offer satisfaction guarantee?

How to clean the bracelet?

Quotelets are made from a microfiber fabric, which has a soft surface that may get dirty. For light stains, gently wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid getting the clasps, buttons, and charms wet to keep them in good condition.

 

Is the bracelet waterproof?
No, it is not waterproof. Please remove it before showering or swimming, and avoid contact with creams.

 

Can I spray the bracelet with perfume?

Yes, you can use a Quotelet as a diffuser bracelet to enjoy a relaxing scent. Lightly spray it with perfume or your favorite essential oil from a safe distance to avoid stains.

 

How to store the bracelet?

Store the bracelet rolled up, hanging, or flat to keep it from wrinkling.

Safety

Are the bracelets hypoallergenic?
The Alcantara fabric used in our bracelets is hypoallergenic, Oeko-Tex Certified, and free from harmful substances. It’s a synthetic material that doesn't contain common allergens like animal fibers and doesn’t trap dust.

However, if you have metal allergies, please check the closures and charms. You can opt for designs with closures made from wood, glass, stone, or plastic beads.

 

Product safety
Keep out of reach of young children due to small parts (clasps, beads, and charms). Extra-durable fabric could pose a choking or entanglement hazard.

 

Can I use a Quotelet as an emergency bracelet? 

Our clients customize Quotelets as elegant emergency bracelets and wear them for special occasions when style matters as much as safety. However, since they’re not waterproof, they’re not intended for nonstop, everyday wear.

 

Also, the closure is not guaranteed to be 100% secure and the bracelet may come off. For this reason, Quotelets should be worn with care and are not a substitute for certified medical or safety identification devices.
